Because Eric Carr was one of the most beloved people in the industry, and gene and paul screwed him and his estate out of royalties... breaking him when he had cancer and fighting for his life... then afterwards not even bothering to appear at the benefit concert ofr him to pay the hospital bills... I saw them in Dallas, Tx. Great show but Paul, would you just SHUT UP AND PLAY!! I'm sick of everyone talking for upteen minutes over bullshit! Oh man, Dallas, Houston was louder than you....who gives a shit, shut up and play!! It would be great to watch a concert that had great music and no talking, oh wait, I already have, Rob Zombie and Megadeth came to Dallas and rocked the place.

I saw them in 76 and 78 original band with great show....They are trully great rock performers. Maybe not the best musicians or song writers but could play their heart out in the day when they were on top of the world. Nowadays, it's about getting their retirment funds. crappy drummer and lead guitar player. Too bad Peter and Ace could not be apart of it as they had their issues to deal with in the old days. There willl never be an original KISS member concert ever again...so sad.
